EVENT : Signatures Magazine Launch

I was lucky to attend the launch of Signatures Magazine and before i go in lol i'll just give everyone some background information of what the magazine stands for and what its about, directly from their website www.signaturesmagazine.co.uk.

"Signatures is an independent bi-annual print magazine that explores passion, process and pursuit in Ghana's local and international creative scene.
Conceived and self-published by Julian and Jason Nicco-Annan, Signatures highlights emerging and established writers, artists, photographers, musicians and upcoming personalities of Ghanaian and African origin that are working endlessly on their craft."

I couldn't tell you how proud I was to stand in the midst of some influential creatives in the country and witness the vision of this magazine and the well-deserved exposure they're giving to these upcoming and established African creatives. We need more platforms like this to showcase Africa's creatives and honestly, I am so for this. I feel like younger or emerging African creatives seeing other artists and creatives' work showcased will inspire them to trust in their talent and know that their visions and dreams will be recognised and rewarded some day.

Overall, I loved meeting and speaking to new people. Amazing vibes and amazing artwork by talented people. I know this magazine has a great future ahead and I just can't wait to see what else Signatures Magazine has instore for us.

Oh and don't forget to grab yourself a copy via their website.
