Current Favourites for October - Beauty Edition

I've been having a life long battle with my oily skin and thank God for these two powders! They don't do exactly what I want but at least it's better than nothing. I learnt the hard way that using too much of any white setting powder makes you look like you used talcum powder all over your face and it only shows in pictures, especially when flash is used. To avoid this use a stippling brush to avoid using too much product.

Thanks to the ever so amazing British weather (notice any sarcasm?), I'm having to pay extra attention to my lips than usual. The first thing I do before my makeup is use the Nivea lip balm to make my lips soft and smooth. I absolutely hate using my lipstick and realising my lips are chapped or cracked. Ew

My favourite lipsticks right now is the Rimmel London Apocalips Lip lacquer. It's such a nice shade of pink and it looks glossy but when it dries it has a matte - like look to it. My second favourite is my new purchase from Seventeen. I walked past the stand in Boots and decided to have a look at what they had to offer. I was so impressed. They have so many amazing products which are very affordable. Ok so I got the Date Night lipstick from the Stay Pout collection. I realised I didn't have any shades of red lipstick and this is like an orangey-red colour. I'm definitely going to be wearing it a lot.

Ok so we're going in a zip zag
